Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to common questions about qualifications, regulation, consultation access and concession eligibility for Amy Simpson Naturopathy in Bendigo, Victoria. This information outlines professional standards, insurance, telehealth availability and regulatory limitations for Australian and international clients. Learn more about Naturopathy in Australia here.

1. What are your qualifications:

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from Torrens University. I am a full member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) and hold current professional indemnity and public liability insurance to $10M (Member Profile).

I am currently completing a Master of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine through Southern Cross University to further strengthen my clinical scope and evidence-based practice.

Naturopathy is not a government-registered profession in Australia. Professional association membership and insurance provide accountability, continuing professional development requirements, and a formal complaints process.

2. Where are you located:

Amy Simpson Naturopathy is based in Bendigo, Central Victoria. I consult from Bloom Natural Health 151 Queen Street Bendigo VIC 3550. Consultations are also available via secure telehealth for clients anywhere in Australia.

3. Can I book if I live outside Australia?

International clients may book consultations for lifestyle, nutrition and educational guidance.

However, it may be challenging to prescribe, dispense or supply herbal or nutritional medicines to individuals located outside Australia. All services are provided in Australian dollars (AUD) and scheduled in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

Please note that the title “naturopath” is not legally protected in many countries. Standards of education and regulation vary widely. If you are seeking in-person care in your country, I recommend contacting the World Naturopathic Federation or your national professional association to locate a suitably qualified practitioner.

4. Do you offer concession rates?

Yes. Discounted consultation fees are available for Australian Health Care Card holders.

Details regarding eligibility and booking are available on the my Bookings page.
