Why mother-focused
NATUROPATHY?
I’m a degree-qualified naturopath supporting women through motherhood, from pregnancy and birth through postpartum and early parenting, with a clinical focus on matrescence and female physiology.
My work supports the real biological and emotional demands of motherhood, including hormonal change, nervous system regulation, nutrient depletion, sleep disruption and mental load. Care is evidence-based, personalised, and designed to support recovery, resilience and long-term health across this life stage.
I work with people seeking support during pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum recovery and breastfeeding, as well as concerns such as fatigue, hormonal shifts, mood changes, ADHD, sleep disruption, digestive issues and the cumulative impact of caring for others. Where appropriate, care may also extend to infant health within a family-centred context.
I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy), am completing postgraduate training in advanced practice, and am a full member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA). My approach blends clinical science with practical, compassionate care to support women through motherhood and beyond.

Birthing the
Mother
My first son's pregnancy was a beautiful conscious conception. I sincerely thought I was prepared for birth and motherhood. But, after a complicated labour on the eve of the very first lockdown (March 2020), I had a very low sleep-needs baby who couldn’t latch, and an extremely isolated post-partum laced with physical and emotional birth trauma. I realised that we need to rekindle a community-wide understanding of life after pregnancy and the fourth trimester. Mothers are being let down. And, I understand now, that when a mother is let down, so are her children. My experience propelled me to question our current treatment of the mother-infant dyad and to deeply acknowledge our journey from maiden to mother as a rite of passage. I believe that strong and resilient mothers are the backbone of strong and resilient families and communities. In late-2021 we were surprised with a fraternal twin pregnancy. Despite being high risk, and having two babies, the difference in my pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and recovery were profound. It is now my heart-felt privilege to champion other women to optimise their journey through matrescence, heal in their fourth trimester, and thrive in motherhood.

FAQs
Q: Do you support people during pregnancy and postpartum?
A: Yes. I support people across pregnancy, birth preparation, postpartum recovery and early motherhood, with care tailored to each stage and individual needs. I work by the biological needs of each trimester and what bub and mum need to thrive.
Q: Is this care focused on me, my baby, or both?
A: It depends who you see me for. I encourage all mum's to book in for themselves. Care is primarily focused on the mother, recognising that maternal health underpins family wellbeing. Where appropriate, support may also extend to infant health within a family-centred approach.
Q: Can you help with mental health concerns such as ADHD or mood changes?
A: Yes. I regularly support women with ADHD & PMDD, postnatal depression, mood changes and nervous system dysregulation during motherhood, using an evidence-based, whole-body naturopathic approach alongside conventional care where appropriate.
Q: Do you work alongside midwives, GPs and other healthcare providers?
A: Yes. Care is designed to complement conventional medical care, and I encourage collaborative, integrated support during pregnancy and postpartum. I recognise that birth can be a controversial topic, especially online. I aim to support you in your decision and provide the best practice, unbiased education and care.
