This may include dietary and lifestyle recommendations, targeted nutritional and herbal medicine. If necessary, I may recommend functional testing or refer you to your GP or trusted specialist.

RETURN APPOINTMENT (30 - 60 minutes)
In the early stages of your treatment plan, we’ll usually meet every 3–4 weeks, especially when addressing serious symptoms. As your health improve, our focus shifts to long-term maintenance, disease prevention, and supporting healthy ageing and healthspan. In return appointments we will review your progress, reassess your goals, and adjust your naturopathic treatment plan as needed. WHAT
to EXPECT
A comprehensive, whole-person assessment that looks beyond symptoms to understand the underlying drivers of your health.
Evidence-informed recommendations tailored to your health, goals, lifestyle and capacity.
A treatment plan that evolves as your body responds, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Practical nutrition, lifestyle and supplement guidance with clear explanations so you understand the "why" behind each recommendation.
Appropriate functional and pathology testing, an understanding of complex and optimal results.
Complex health concerns often have multiple contributing factors. Your treatment plan brings these pieces together into a clear, practical and prioritised approach.
Collaborative care with your GP and other health professionals when appropriate.
Regular review of your progress, with your treatment plan adjusted as needed.
A high level of support between appointments.
I encourage questions by email so small issues can be addressed early rather than waiting for your next consultation.

TIMELINE

Assess & understand
-
We explore your health history, symptoms, lifestyle and goals in detail. Learn about My Approach.
-
Together we identify likely underlying drivers rather than focusing on symptoms alone.
-
You leave with a personalised treatment plan and practical first steps to begin straight away.
-
If further investigation is needed, we discuss the most appropriate comprehensive testing and create a roadmap.
Restore & rebalance
-
We refine your treatment as we learn more about how your body responds.Test results are interpreted within the context of your whole health, not in isolation. We meet every 3-4 weeks.
-
Nutrition, lifestyle, movement and targeted supplements work together to restore function.
-
Many people notice improvements early, while deeper healing often takes time and consistency.
-
I provide an exceptionally high level of contact between appointments and try my best to be available as needed for questions & accountability.
Life changes. Your healthcare should too.
-
Health isn't static, and neither is your treatment.Whether it's pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, a new diagnosis, illness, injury, increased stress or simply a new stage of life, we'll adapt your plan to meet your current needs.
-
Sometimes we return to foundations. Sometimes we investigate further. Sometimes we simply adjust course. Rather than starting over, we'll build on what we've already learned.
-
The goal isn't perfection. It's having a healthcare plan that continues to support you through every season of life.
Optimise & maintain
-
Once your health has stabilised, appointments become less frequent.
-
We focus on maintaining your progress, preventing relapse and supporting future health goals.
-
We plan for healthy aging and what that means to you.

RESULTS
THE DOS
✓ Come with an open mind and ask questions. Understanding your treatment is part of the process. A main tenet of Naturopathic Medicine is "Doctor as Teacher".
✓ Focus on consistency rather than perfection.
✓ Small changes, repeated often, usually have the biggest impact.
✓ Let me know if something isn't working. Your treatment plan is designed to be adjusted as we learn what suits you.
✓ Keep me updated between appointments if something significant changes or you have questions. I'd much rather hear from you early than have you feeling stuck. I offer a really high level of support between appointments.
✓ Be honest about what feels realistic. Treatment should fit into your life, not take over it.
✓ Celebrate the small wins. Better energy, improved sleep or a more regular cycle are all signs that your body is moving in the right direction.

THE DONTS
✓ Feel like you have to do everything perfectly. Life happens, and your treatment can flex with it.
✓ Stop supplements or change your plan without checking in first.
✓ Worry if progress isn't linear. Healing rarely follows a straight line.
✓ Compare your progress to someone else's. Every person, history and timeline is different.
✓ Wait until your next appointment if you're unsure about something. Just send me an email.
FAQs
Q: How often will I need appointments?
A: Most clients are reviewed every 3-4 weeks during the early stages of treatment. As your health improves, appointments usually become less frequent and are tailored to your needs and goals.
Q: Do I need to take supplements?
A: Not always. Supplements are recommended only when they are likely to provide a meaningful clinical benefit. Nutrition, lifestyle, movement and education form the foundation of every treatment plan.
Q: Do you offer telehealth appointments?
A: Yes. Consultations are available both in person in Bendigo and via secure telehealth for clients across Australia.
Q: Will I need functional testing?
A: Not everyone does. Testing is recommended when it is likely to change clinical decision-making, provide greater clarity or help monitor your progress over time.
Q: Can you organise blood testing?
A: Yes. I can refer you for private blood testing or help you to arrange blood testing via Medicare services.
Q: How long does treatment usually take?
A: This depends on your health concerns, goals and how long symptoms have been present. Some people notice improvements within weeks, while more complex conditions often require longer-term support. Your treatment plan will evolve as your health changes.
